Now is not the time to be quiet.

Now is not the time to be quiet. That may sound funny in a day where everyone is voicing their opinions about everything so loudly. But I’m not talking about voicing your opinion about the latest conspiracy theory, or electoral candidate. By all means, you have the freedom to express yourself on those matters, but please don’t forget the most important thing, the thing as believers we are all called to do. Don’t forget to tell people about Jesus.

Support the cause.

Support the candidate.

Support, help, promote, research, inform, clarify, have conversations, get all the information, tell all the information, but don’t forget about Jesus!

There are so many terrible things happening right in front of our eyes. There is a horrible virus gripping people with fear, sickness and death. And if it doesn’t get you there, it’s causing financial repercussions that will last for years to come. We have unrest in our land. Divisions, hate, misunderstandings, misinformation, all leading to chaos and confusion. Our children are under attack in ways we could have never imagined. We don’t know who to believe about what, and where we can get accurate information about anything going on. We don’t know what the best plan is for our jobs, our schools, our communities. That’s all piling up to create the trending feeling of unrest not only in our own country, but around the world.

But it doesn’t have to be. We don’t have to be in a state of unrest.

If there has ever been a day people need to hear about Jesus, it’s today.

If there has ever been a day people need to know they have hope available to them, it’s today.

If there has ever been a time Christians should be shouting Jesus from the rooftops, it’s now!

As a follower of Christ I am so thankful that with all that is going on around me, there is one thing I can ALWAYS depend on, and trust in as truth, and that’s Jesus!

I always have hope, no matter how grim or horrific a situation.

I always have joy, no matter the amount of grief or pain in my life.

I always have a friend, no matter if everyone else has betrayed me.

I never stand alone, even when people forsake me.

I always know truth, even when this world is full confusion.

I always have peace, even when there is unrest and chaos in the land.

I always have provision, even if the government, economy, or the workplace fails.

Let us not forget in supporting all the worthy causes, to support the worthiest cause of all. The cause of winning souls to Christ and bringing life, hope and peace to those who are spiritually dead. It is in doing this, that we will see hearts and lives changed for the greater good of heaven and our communities.

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

Mark 16:15 AMP
