When no one else can help me, Jesus can.

Have you ever been in a place where no one could help you? I have. It’s a place that leads to great despair if you let it. It’s a place the enemy loves to show up and feed you lies of hopelessness. It’s a place where people love to say “everything happens for a reason” becuase they don’t have any answers for you. It’s a place you feel like absolutely no one understands what your heart is feeling. But Its also the place where Jesus shows up as a very present help in your time of need.

I won’t go over all my life’s woes with you, but I will tell you this, even those that love me dearest have not been able to help me in certain circumstances. There are trials in this life that will show up without warning. And although you may have the very best doctor, lawyer, friend, family, counselor, banker, the best anything, they won’t be able to help you.

You can quickly get frustrated, even angry with these people because of their inability to understand where you are, much less offer you assistance. The enemy uses that to drive a wedge between you and the people who love you most. So just don’t do it. Don’t put people in a place on Jesus belongs. Don’t look to them for help they can’t give. Be thankful and apprentice for their awkward attempts to help, knowing their heart is in the right place. Stay close to your supporters even though that’s all they can offer sometimes. Let them pray for you. Let them love you. But don’t put your hope in them.

Put your hope in Jesus. Lean into Him with everything you’ve got. Hold on to Him. Hold onto His words. Hold on to His promises. Hold on to that name.

His name is above every name.

His name causes mountains to crumble.

His name causes walls to fall.

His name chisels away even the hardest of hearts and makes them new.

His name breaks addictions.

His name causes strongholds to loose.

His name restores marriages.

His name brings the dead to life.

His name brings provisions from nowhere.

His name feeds the hungry.

His name heals the sick.

His name cures diseases.

His name defeats giants.

His name brings down the mighty and raises the meek.

His name brings wisdom.

His name brings knowledge.

His name changes lives.

Jesus. He’s all you’ll ever need. Don’t be discouraged in your time of trouble. Whatever it is you have your hope in today besides Jesus, is simply sinking sand. Call on that name today for help instead. Call on Jesus today. He’s right here waiting with exactly what you need. ❤️

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”

Philippians 2:9 KJV
