Don’t be discouraged in your calling!👏🏻❤️
Focus on the Growth.
“It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.”
1 Corinthians 3:7 NLT
It’s really so overwhelming to think that the God of the universe actually called me to fulfill a purpose in this life. Not only to fulfill a purpose, but to fulfill His very own will, to be a worker in His kingdom. He called me, knowing who I am, where I’ve been, What I’ve done. He knew my limitations, my weaknesses, and my very few strengths. He knew I’d fail a lot. That I would disappoint Him, rebel against Him, and ultimately always return. He knew I would get side tracked, try to do all kinds of things outside of my calling. He knew I would desire someone else’s walk along the way, and despise my own. He knew there would be a time when I realized that the only thing that really matters is the growth.
Really when I think about the Glory of God being seen in this earth I’m just honored to be a part of it. When I think about a soul being saved, and experiencing the love that I know, it’s overwhelming. When I think about a heart being mended, a life being changed, the broken places put back together in someone, it’s unbelievable the things the Lord does for His children. To be a part of that in whatever way I can is so much more than I could even ever think to deserve.
It brings me to the realization that Pauls words are so true. It doesn’t matter what part I play in the body of Christ. It matters that I play my part, that I am faithful and persistent to do what He has called me to. It matters that I go after His call with everything I’ve got. And most of all, it matters that because I am playing a part and either planting or watering, God will make that seed grow.
Go after your calling. Don’t worry about if you’re planting or watering, worry about if you are seeing any growth because of what you are doing in His kingdom. That’s what’s important. Are we helping plant a seed that God will make grow? Or are we doing nothing because we don’t want the job we’ve been given?
Focus on the growth today. You are here for a great purpose, and equipped by God for such. Don’t take it lightly, but fulfill it with pride. You are part of something so much bigger than you realize.❤️
